Boston is a city that I love, but I rarely venture into its busy streets. I remember the quiet days of the pandemic when the city seemed to pause and breathe. But I also find inspiration in the crowds of people hunched over their phones, oblivious to their surroundings. They sparked this short poem in me, reflecting the contrast between solitude and connection. I called it “Titanium Souls.”
Titanium souls
In a keyboard world
Lost between now,
And the space bar.
